Will you be willing to play requests?
Marc loves requests and more than happy to play them. Marc uses good judgment skills in playing appropriate songs and when to play it.
What kinds of music do you have?
Born To Boogie has all different genres of music. Including Rock, R&B, Rap, Disco, Hip Hop, , Hard Rock, Country, Gospel, Jazz, Blues, Alternative, Bluegrass, Mambo, Reggae, Waltz, Latin, Polka, and Techno. If you have a special request for a certain style of music, just let Marc know and he will make sure it will be played at your event.
May we call your references?
Yes, Marc does have a list of satisfied clients that you may call. Available upon request.
Will the volume be controlled?
Yes. You are in control of the volume of the music. Marc wants you and your guest to be comfortable at a volume that you feel is reasonable.
Do you have a wireless microphone that we could use?
Marc always carries two wireless microphones to every event so people can make their toast and or announcements.
Do you use Professional Equipment?
Marc will only use high quality professional equipment to ensure the entertainment surpasses the expectations of the audience.
Do you provide backup equipment at my event?
Marc always has a backup system available in case something should happen to the primary equipment. Over the past twenty years there has never been an unfortunate instance when the equipment has failed.
How much time do you allow for set-up?
Arrival Time is at least one-two hours prior to the start time that you have originally scheduled. Ideally, everything will be in place 20-30 minutes prior to your guest arriving.
Do you provide a written contract?
It is extremely important to have your booking confirmed in writing. Marc will send out two contracts for you to sign. All you need to do is sign them and return one back to Born To Boogie.
What is your booking fee?
A $300 non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve a particular date. The booking fee is deducted from your total amount due.
Will you be suitably dressed for our occasion?
From an elegant formal affair to casual, Marc's dress attire will compliment yours. Marc will act, look, and be professional at all times. Standard attire is a tuxedo unless otherwise requested.
How many years experience do you have?
Marc Lanning has been a DJ for more than 20+ years.

Born To Boogie accepts Checks, Cash, Cashiers Check, Master Card & Visa.
Do you belong to a professional organization or trade group?
Marc Lanning, of Born To Boogie, belongs to the American Disc Jockey Association (ADJA) and the Colorado Professional Disc Jockey Association (CPDJA). Marc has had the privilege of serving on the local CPDJA board as President and Vice President from the years 2002-2005.
Do you take breaks?
Typically, Marc does not take breaks.
